
Why become a member of BelSIO?
BelSIO welcomes healthcare professionals who support the integration of evidence-based complementary and lifestyle approaches into cancer care. By becoming a member, you join a multidisciplinary community committed to improving patient outcomes through knowledge exchange, collaboration, and the advancement of integrative oncology in Belgium.
Membership offers opportunities to cross-polinate with each other at a low threshold, contribute to the development of the field, stay informed about relevant initiatives and, in the future, benefit from activities and resources offered by the society.
Membership requirements
- have a demonstrable, active involvement in integrative oncology, either clinically or scientifically
- hold a recognised diploma or certificate in a healthcare-related programme (e.g. bachelor's, master's or other certified programme in healthcare)
- not have been removed from an official healthcare register (such as the Order of Physicians, the Federal Council for Nursing, or another recognised professional body), nor have been convicted of malpractice or ethical violations in the healthcare sector
- endorse the objectives and values of the non-profit organisation and be willing to contribute to its operation

After positive evaluation by the BelSIO board, you will be notified and invited to pay the annual membership fee of €75.
